Please help me decide! Which shoes?

I'm a big fan of 90's grunge style and have been searching for some chunky loafer-type shoes for ages. I had some at school which I loved and wore to death! Finally, I've found two styles I like on ASOS, which do you think are better?

I'd wear them with skater skirts, black tights, tshirts and polo shirts, with an oversized denim/ bomber or leather jacket. Also with dresses for work.

Shoe 2 says avoid contact with liquids so they might be dodgy in the rain. Shoe 1 is much better i think.
