I have just stumbled across a great website by accident. I was searching YouTube videos on how to improve my appearance. I'll never again have to ask my husband 'How do I look?'

There used to be a website like this about 20 years ago, which used a panel of 10 men & women to rate your face & body and it also gave a 'first impressions' statement too.
Cant remember what it was called but I got 'sexy looking & determined' 'over processed hair' and 'angular'

Some charmer also rated my face as 'potential to be attractive' 5 out of 10

Actually its fine - quite good really. No one can make comments or be harsh/unkind. Other users score (they call it rate) your pictures and it appears that the result you get is the average of all the scores others have given you.

You can choose how you want to see your scores. The woman in the video says that she uses it to help her decide which item to buy when shopping. Who knows if she does or not but it seems like a really good idea.

I have a restyle appointment at the hairdressers for Thursday. I'm going to put up before and after pictures and see if my money is well spent. If itisn't I definitely wont tell hubby!

Hotornot taught me everything I needed to know about the world. Revealing top = 10, tits covered up = 7.
Actually I never ever got a 10. High was 9.3 for a picture of me and BFF in bras with bed head and smudged eyeliner looking like we were about to snog (we weren't). We were 19. I'd love to say I'd be horrified if anyone managed to dredge that photo up and ruin my life with it but honestly I'm still proud of my 9.3.

But now, no way. I'm pretty sure the general public can't judge my appearance as harshly as I can, but I'm not up for finding out!

Its safe! My husband and I have both joined. Its not tacky at all. I actually think that this will help me steer my husband toward a better appearance. He looks good in his work suit but his weekend look can be a bit 'scruffy'. I think that we will have fun with this.

I'm also going to recommend it to my nephew. He has an interview coming up so it would be good for him to get feedback on what to wear.

Oh, I remember Hot or Not! I think I was an 8. something average, which was nice. The worst one was that one called something like "How old do I look?". Horrific. I put up a picture of a 26 year old me (I was 26 at the time) and the average voter said I looked 40! I'm pretty sure I didn't!

Why on earth would you join this kind of site? Do you really need to see what a bunch of strangers - who may themselves live in dirty grey marl tracksuit bottoms and think elegance equates to getting dressed before you leave the house - think of a haircut you've already had done?

Lol, I was ridiculously pleased by my 9.something or other, my top was verrry low cut though it has to be said.

These days it would all be girls showing their bums getting the 9s.
