Waterproof hooded jacket

My old faithful cagoule is on its last legs.

I need a replacement and don't mind if it's a cagoule or jacket but it must have a hood and be properly waterproof.

I'd love something that looks stylish but need it to do the practical stuff too.

I go walking (occasionally), camping and I'm a dinner lady so I'm out in all weathers at lunchtime! Grin

I have a 'proper' waterproof winter coat so it doesn't have to be insulated - just cope with the rain during the warmer months!

Thanks

Sorry, I was in a rush yesterday! The poncho just wouldn't suit me as I need something more fitted.

I like the look of some of the trespass ones - does anyone know if their sizes come up large or small?

Thanks!

The Tresspass ones look fab and great discounts. What is their sizing like? I am a size 12 so would a Medium be ok on me?

I have the Seasalt Sea Folly jacket and I can confirm that it is properly waterproof and actually quite flattering on! It's comfy and roomy and has got nice deep pockets too. Handy for dog walking when you don't need a heavy hot winter coat.

I'm not sure about the big toggles on the Sea Folly jacket.

Tempted by a Tresspass one though.... I have a very old Boden rainy day mac which is ok but a bit bulky.

They're not that big.

I also have a chewed toggle, after leaving it in the boot with the puppy. Hmm Grin

I like the trespass ones but my last one didn't stay waterproof for very long.

I got a lightweight Peter Storm one from Blacks (in the sale for £15). They have a few different colours and patterns. It kept me completely dry in Friday's rain (and was out in it for hours). It even comes with a little pouch so I can keep it in my handbag.
