Lining underneath the eye?

Do you line underneath your eyes as well as the top, or do you think that when you reach a "certain age", it drags your face down and makes you look older? I would welcome your thoughts. TIA

I line under neath with eyeshadow and soften it slightly with a soft brush. I'm 40. With decent skin/not v wrinkly.

I'm 37 & do the same as BeautifulBatman. I think lining under the eye using eyeliner, especially if it's black, is a very hard look to get right.

I switched to more neutral colors, taupes and grays and chic greens, and use them with a very light hand.

I am old and I use eyeliner pencil under the eye - without it I look awful and my eyes sink into my head. However, I never use black, more of a soft dark bluey grey.

under and blended I do:-

Body Shop Navy
Natural collections grey
and sometimes an Urban Decay one in a softer colour.
also a nice plum/purple from Bobbi Brown
and Industrial I think its called from MAC

Navy wakes up your eyes makes them look less tired, grey etc gives more definition and if you balance with mascara your eyes look fine. Mine are small almond shaped.

In the evenings when more time it's top lid liner and maybe under.

if you blend and it looks ok then its fine. Kate gets it wrong as its far too dark and harsh for her, generally blended is nice and to match your eyes.
