Summer night out outfit

What do I wear for a school mums night out - meeting for cocktails in a casino then on to an restaurant for a meal? I hardly ever have nights out and I am clueless! I'm ok for winter outfits, I have a couple of dresses and a navy skirt with Boden top, but nothing even slightly smart that I could wear in warmer weather.

Day-to-day most of my clothes come from Fat Face, White Stuff, Mantaray at Debenhams and a bit of Boden (I always start looking for stuff for myself, think it's a bit expensive and I'll wait for a discount, then go and buy loads of stuff for the kids from there anyway!).

I'm a size 14, don't mind wearing dresses but not short ones, and wouldn't really feel comfortable in a sleeveless top.

Not really a burning issue, but I don't want to go out looking too casual!
