Help me - mousey, thin, straight, short lashes...

Should I just give up?

Im going away for a week to Italy soon and I'd really love to have low maintenance make up but gorgeous full lashes.

Ive tried everything from Revitalsh, lash extensions (all sorts!) to a lash lift/tint. The extensions twist because my lashes are straight and fine and the lift curls them but never quite manages to lift them so i still have to use lash curlers. Im hopeless at applying fake lashes too. The single ones drop off or twist and the little clusters are too heavy and fall through my own lashes. I can never get the strip ones to stick at the ends as my eyelids are greasy and they all just seem too ... bulky and black.

There's a dearth of beauty salons here (back of beyond, the sticks) so even if i google 'lash technitians' all the numbers are dead.

Any advice?

What about semi permanent lashes?

Done by the right person they are worth driving out of town for if there is no one in your town who does them.

Also look for mobile technicians.

Also before applying mascara blow your lashes with the hairdryer upwards. It works.

LVL lashes, it's worth trying to find a tech that does this as its so good.

thanks Quite I do the hairdryer trick already but i find that they still flop by 2.00pm and Ive had semi-permanents done by loads of different salons aand mobiles all with poor to middling results. Ive just travelled over 100 miles for a lash lift but theyre already dropping on the right outer corner after only a week. I went to one who got dye all around my eye socket and another who made my lashes frizzy. Yet another curled them so much they curled back on themselves.

I'm going to have to get the train to a proper salon in London arent I.

Just had LVL cunty (love the name) Grin it's ok but nothing like the promo photos/videos.

When i go to the LVL website and put my postcode in, (midlands) it brings up loads of technitians/salons who supposedly do it but when i call they say theyve never heard of it or there's no call for it.

Have you tried rapidlash or my lash stuff? The former makes a massive difference to mine.

The other thing which will work is a product called Latisse.

Yes, tried Lumigan, Lielaash, NuLash, Rapidlash, Latisse. They do make my lashes longer (lot thicker or darker) but they also give me red ringed eyes. Not great.

I'm using Physicians Formula eyeliner pen which has serum built in, it has made a bit of a difference. It disguises my pale lashes and is easy to use.

I am going to make my own serum
