Stylish bag with comfortable strap

I recently got a michael kors bag, it's beautiful and the nicest bag I've ever owned however it's heavy and the strap cuts in. My other bags are cath kidston, Kipling and radley all comfortable to carry but not exactly stylish. My nearest john lewis only stocks Michael kors and a small range of mulberry which is out of my price range really. Any suggestions of other brands? I would like tan leather, not soft delicate leather though. Needs to be shoulder type not a carry in the crook of your arm type cross body strap not essential.
