Please accessorise me, I'm clueless!

Beach-type wedding in a couple of weeks, my dress is an old one (still trying to lose baby weight so don't want to spend money on something that may not fit again), and similar to this picture (that is not me :o )

I have short pixie hair, and would quite like a hat/headband/earrings to go with the dress, but I never know what colour or style. I've got a long neck so dangly earrings look good, would love a big floppy hat, but terrified I'll get it all wrong.

Any help gratefully appreciated :)

Please accessorise me, I'm clueless!

I'd go for a 70s sort of boho vibe-tassle earrings, couple of long layered necklaces, floppy hat. Lace up sandals.

OK - if it was me, I would go for a floppy straw hat like this

I also like this headband although couldn't wear it myself as headbands don't stay on my head...

I'm rubbish at earrings but quite like these

I think a long pendant as in the photo you posted would look good too.

Check out Z for accessorize on the accessorize website-lots of inexpensive jewellery that would work with the dress. Statement earings and long necklaces. They also have a large selection of hats worth a look at!

Itscurtains I love that hat!

You're all brilliant! I've got some lace up sandals that I was planning on wearing, so glad to hear they're right.

Tassly earrings sound great too.

Maybe a pashmina/shawl type wrap to look all swishy in?

What colour pashmina? I do like swooshing.

Something tells me I'll probably end up accessorising with wellies and a waterproof coat
