Wrinkles and crepey eyes - what products work? I'm only 42 FFS!

Over the past couple of months, I've noticed my eye lids have become quite creoey and the wrinkles around my eyes are more noticeable. My skin has become quite dry in general, in fact.
Yet, I drink 2 litres of water a day so I can't be THAT dehydrated and sleep has not worsened. Didnt changed products before it began.
Since I noticed it, I've tried clinique stuff but it made no difference. Like, none at all. I usually use l'oreal miracle oil to cleanse and aveeno to moisturise.
Can anyone suggest anything to try? I'm only early 40s and have, until recently, looked young for my years.

There is nothing wrong with trying to improve things yasonbhu. A rather unhelpful post.
I am 47 and yeh, im getting older but want to help my skin a little like the OP. I would try boots protect and perfect. I found that amazing. Made my skin look great! Use both the serum and the moisturiser.

My eyes always go a bit creepy when I've been using any kind of eye cream or gel on them (or serum) which is wierd as they are meant to improve them but they only make them worse for me. When I stop using eye products around my eyes they go back to their normal smooth state.

However I popped into the bobbi brown shop in covent garden at the weekend and the girl there put on their eye cream for me which was amazing so I would highly recommend using that under your make up or concealer if that's what you need. It was a very wet kind of consistency but the concealer went on beautifully after wards.

Try a different cleanser maybe like cetaphil and see how you get on with that.

I have tried all sorts of creams an potions, but IMO I don't think any of them work. I am 56 and wear glasses so most people don't really get a chance to see my wrinkles anyway.

Well sadly bunbaker thats what i have done. I am ending up wearing my glasses more. The other day i put my contacts in and i was really conscious of my dark circles! Think i will just keep with the specs!!! I look great anyway when i take them off!!! Best thing ever and takes years off me!!!
I look 21 again in the mirror ha ha....

Thanks re Bobbi brown tip. It definitely looks worse when I wear make-up. The foundation falls into the little lines and seems to deepen them into crevices!

I use the Avon cream on my lids before make up, it's obviously only temporary but I find it does lift them a bit. I'll look for a link.

I've had great success with olay regenerist daily serum. It's not for under eyes specifically but I was using it mixed in with my foundation and noticed my wrinkles had dramatically improved in only a week or so. Now I'm applying it directly!

Also since my discovery I've been gently and carefully using my derma flannel which you're probably not supposed to use under eyes and I think thats helping too

I didn't think you could have Botox under the eyes...can you? And if so which kind of lines would it solve?

It's injected to the sides of the eyes:Points g, h, and i in this picture. And it stops the wrinkling underneath the eyes when you smile, as well as the 'crow's feet' wrinkles on the sides.

I'm not at all keen on the idea of botox. It is one step too far for me, aside from the huge expense of it.
