Hair dye test reaction

Looking for some words of wisdom. Yesterday I did the putting a little of the hair dye behind my ear to check for a reaction. This morning I have very itchy and red eyelids/eyebrows. I normally get this type of reaction after being in sunlight without sunscreen. I did spend some time outdoors yesterday but with sunscreen on.
Should I chance the hair dye? There is no reaction on the skin behind my ear.

I wouldn't. That's the sort of reaction I get to cosmetics so I wouldn't chance it!
