I am looking for a swimming costume which is not too high cut, that will cope with a 34G bust and hopefully hold in a mummy tummy. I am a curvy size 12-14, 40 years old, in ok shape but past wearing a bikini due a few stretch marks and 2 c sections in the last 4 years. I would wear a bikini but currently don't have the body confidence. Going on hols in June. Can you recommend a nice costume please? or brand? I am willing to spend a little money but not silly money...

check bravissimo but go in and try them on, they'll cope.

I find halternecks are more flattering for a big bust and a clip at the back helps.

I've got my eye on a tankini in sainsburys that ties at the back and round your neck. inexpensive but should cope.

My current swimming costume is an m and s number that's amazing - ties round neck and clip at back. perfect although gives me a sore neck after a while.

I am delighted with my Bravissimo tankini. It has a proper concealed bra and is super flattering. Only downside IMO is that the layers take ages to dry after swimming so you do end up damp. Still worth trying.

Another tip, I ordered a whole lot of swimwear from Tesco, M&S and Bravissimo and tried it all on at home and then chose what was the best fit whe I had it all together. I ended up with some of each.

Bravissimo! Go into store and get fitted, if you can.

I have an Elle Sport one, don't think it was expensive but it ties at the neck so you can adjust it to suit, not high cut at the legs either.

Its fairly plain but still pretty and flattering.
