I'm going to the hairdresser this weekend. I have mid-length dark brown hair. It is a fairly dull uniform colour with no natural highlights so I sometimes have a semi-permanent colour done to add shine and richness.
I've got some grey peeping through - no roots as such just random greys along my parting.
I am thinking of getting some highlights or lowlights (is there even such a thing??) to lighten up the colour a little and make the grey less noticeable.
I don't really want to go for a full permanent colour yet and find myself dealing with roots.
Any advice on what to ask for? I am hopeless with hair speak. I have a horror of orangey or brassy looking stripes.
Any advice for me?
Thanks
