Fake tanning tips for beginners

I need help.

Back in my student days I occasionally had fake bake done for special occasions

These days I am after something more subtle. I will be going on a beach holiday later in the year, and would like to look healthy (I.e. Not pasty) when I arrive.

What DIY tanning products do you recommend, and any tips on application?

I use St.Tropez mousse,

I would shave my legs the night before.

Exfoliate & moisturise,

Use gloves. . ( I use the disposable blue gloves, as it glides on.

I add a bit of moisturiser with the mousse for my feet,

But Im no expert. I read reviews that Xen Tan is excellent.
