1920s theme ball

Yikes, we are off to a 1920s theme ball. I'm size 16, pear shape, want to hide my arms and not keen on anything above the knee, and pastels wash me out completely. I was thinking about this, it has a hint of 1920s about it and I can dress it up with sparkly hair pins and ropes of pearls. Any other bright ideas? Long or short would be fine and I don't want to look as if I've tried too hard (no full on flappers please!)

I think it's lovely. You need a feathe headband! They have them on amazon.

Thank you! Haven't bought it yet, if anyone sees anything as appropriate but shorter (knee length or just below), please let me know! Exploring all possibilities.....
