...before I cry and give up!

I'm getting married soon in this dress, I am fat and want something to hide my arms preferably in a light pink/blush, feel like I've looked everywhere, what could I wear?

Op don't hide your arms. Shawels (sp?!), wraps etc just draw attention to them. So what if they aren't as slim as you'd like - make them look amazing. Exfoliate, massage and moisturise every day until the wedding. Use some sheen on them - benefit used to do something that made skin look great. Will try to find.

Congratulations. Its a lovely dress. Are you sure your arms are fat and this isn't just lots of prewedding jitters?

How many weeks have you got? A dedicated twice daily routine of light weights could do quite a bit of toning in a month. Lots of easy routines if you google.

Would you consider something like a sheer illusion bodysuit/ sleeved body?

If you don't have light weights, cans of beans in front of the tv can be utilised. My arms are a bit fat, but reasonably toned, so don't look too bad on photos.

Don't cover your arms!! You'll just look like you're trying to hide them. The dress is beautiful, let people's eyes be drawn to that gorgeous lace!!! Don't draw their eyes up to your arms with some sort of cover up. I agree... Tone them if you can, exfoliate, moisturise, fake tan

Please don't try to cover them, that is a beautiful dress and everyone will be looking at you in it and thinking how lovely you look, not 'oh my God look at her fat arms'. People who come to your wedding are people who love you and wish you well (or should be), and your 'flaws' are only seen by you. I hope you have a fab day.

Honestly unfortunately its not a pre-wedding thing, I am fat and have even fatter arms

If I don't cover them, I'll feel uncomfortable and exposed all day - don't think weights are going to make a difference at this late stage unfortunately!

Mrslettuce I know! I wanted a dress with sleeves so much but nowhere seemed to do them, went in like 8 different shops and was just close to giving up tbh, decided to go for a dress I loved and just wear something over the top, but now its getting increasingly close and I can't find anything

Another couple of options are a sheer/ lace veil like cape - i like the full length ones, they flow out like a grand veil as you walk and/ or armpit length gloves - but you'd need to remove for the ring going on bit.

I feel your pain op I was the same. I got a fur bolero and while I did love it the other posters are right it made my arms look bigger. By far the nicest photos of me on the day are in the evening when I was too hot to wear it on the dance floor. In many other photos I look like a prop forward. Nothing wrong with prop forwards, but not the look I envisaged.

I had something along the lines of this when I got married in a similar dress.

Was just enough to cover worst bit of my arms, ensured there wasn't too much skin enormous norkage out up top and looked like part of the dress - would that work?

You can't mix two different pattens of lace without looking it looking very odd, unfortunately. It's all wrong lengthwise for a dress with a waistband like yours too, unless you go for full length then you need something that finishes at (or above) the top of the ribbon band.

What is the budget? TBH you'd probably be best looking into having something made. this isn't pink.

I wore a very similar wedding dress op and got a Cathedral length lace trim veil.

I don't think it looked obvious I was arm conscious and it really slimmed them in photos.

That's an excellent solution Mrsteddy, did you keep the veil on all eveing too?

Is this also your dress? If you could bear it an extreme but effective option might be to have the train taken up in such a way as to provide fabric for a little fitted jacket or sleeves.

A friend got "sleeves" added to her dress. They were thick chiffon and were sort of gathered and then draped over the top of her arms. So sewed on either side of her armpit. Looked great and only I knew they were added. Looked like part of the dress.

I think that one without a hood would be better.
