Does anyone have experience with this product recently? I have found a bit of info via a few searches but have a few questions I hope someone can help me with!

Is it worth the money?
Does it really keep the hair healthy as opposed to drying it out over time like GHD's?
I've read a few reviews where people claim the pod is faulty and stores won't help, this worries me at that price - and bad experiences?

I would really love to ditch the blow dryer and the parched look when using GHD's twice weekly. My hair is ok, but kind of frizzy, so I don't want to invest in something else that will simply help it to dry out, only at a slower rate.

Thank ye!

Oooh, also, I forgot to ask if it actually straightens the hair as well as GHD's. I don't aim for poker straight, but I don't want to leave my roots wavy either.

I have had them for over a year and have never had any problem with them.

I use them about twice a week...they straighten beautifully and my hair is in good condition. The steam does seem to lock the effect in and if I do my hair in the evening, I don't need to use them again the next day.

I always use them on dry hair.

Thanks chopin, I'm glad to hear that! I really want to cut out the hairdryer part so would plan to air dry in a ponytail and use the pod in the morning...

I got some last week and I've been impressed so far! I'm not convinced by claims that its good for your hair - it's a heat source so it can't be! - but it made my hair quite sleek and it straightened as well as GHDs.
