Help me style this top?

Bought this top and not actually sure what to wear on the bottom!

I'm thinking a skirt is definitely out, since you wouldn't tuck this in and it would just look messy and shapeless over the top. Jeans would look fine but can't wear jeans for this particular occasion (smart/casual, no jeans), so what to wear? A pair of dark trousers perhaps, but I'm concerned skinny may raise risk of camel toe and anything other than skinny might look too bulky? First world problems eh!

Thanks for any help xx

Hello! I think dark trousers is the way to go - and yes, probably skinny/ cigarette cut rather than anything more bulky... Why would skinny trousers give you a camel toe by the way? I think if you try on a few pairs and find ones that fit well it should be fine? I don't know if you're a heels wearer or not, but I think this top would look great with some skinny-ish cut trousers that skim the ankle and then some elegant heels. Let us know how you get on!

Oh good idea, cigarette cut could be just the right shape for these. You're right, as long as the skinnies fit properly there shouldn't be any camel toe - just have a lurking horror of it when the skinnies are anything other than sturdy denim! Love heels but don't get enough chance to wear them - I think this could be their moment. Thanks for your advice!

Great :-) I would definitely look into the cigarette cut, and they'd look lovely with heels imho. Good luck and let us know what you settle on!

CMOT Thank you! Considering trying these but am quite tall (5ft. 9/10") so not sure if they'll end up being too short...
