Best yoga pants?

GreyjoysAnatomy · 05/03/2015 21:38

I've just not been able to find some that fit what I want!

I'm looking for ones that have plenty on stretch and don't cut in, are tight to the thigh but looser on the calves, full length and preferably roll top.

Is there such a thing?! Or can you make me any recommendations of other ones? I will take all suggestions, I'm desperate to find a decent pair!

Thanks

Well Sainsburys do really really great yoga pants, I found you have to go up a size though as too tight, but they wash lovely, nice material, & I tumble dry them, yet they still look new. All for around £12-£14!

Argh I don't live anywhere near a sainsbury Grin

I actually want them for work, I work on an outreach team at a charity and do a huge amount of walking every day so want something comfy as I'm sick of my jeans!

GapFit GDance sounds pretty close to what you're looking for. They are slightly bootlegged, compression type fabric so really flattering and comfy and sit quite high on the waist

LandsEnd starfish trousers - they are brilliant. I wear mine for pilates but they are smart enough for daywear.

I have the Sainsburys ones (one size up, so glad to read that). They are not smart enough for work but ok for the school run.

We don't have a dress code at work, as long as there's no boob or bum on show, you're golden Grin

Anything goes, so even pyjama looking trousers are fine Wink thanks for the suggestions I'll have a wee look

Go to TK Max and look for Manuka.

Ooh I forgot about tk maxx, I got some fabby sports bras from there! I'm such a comfort dresser, I like to look nice but I'm ultimately all about the stretchy clothes Grin

Sweaty Betty have some brilliant ones in the sale for £13 - highly recommend, they are lovely. They are not generously sized though, so if you're in between two sizes I would definitely get the bigger ones.

Those white company ones look good but the reviews say they are for taller women and I'm a short arse Grin

The forever 21 ones look ace though and what a fab price!

Thanks for all your help Smile

These Kettlewell ones are fab.

They're not sold as yoga pants but that's what they are imo. Lovely weight fabric that hangs beautifully without clinging and the most comfortable things ever, even by yoga pant standards. Somehow manage to be really flattering too. I have a couple of pairs now but my first ones have been worn continuously for 3 years, have no bobbling and refuse to lose their shape or go baggy at the knees or bum no matter how much lounging about practise I do in them.

Meet all your criteria "are tight to the thigh but looser on the calves, full length and preferably roll top."

Oh and they do a short length Grin

Sweaty Betty for all my yoga pants & joggys. The quality is great - they still look as good as new after years of wear.

I bought some from Sport Direct today. About £10 and look ok. I hope they'll wash well and won't give me saggy knees.

Another vote for Sweaty Betty, they really do last for years.
