Best shampoo for straight, slightly frizzy hair.

Just that really. Slightly oily hair - I really can't go more than two days without washing it or I look untidy. My hair tends to break as it gets longer, despite the fact that I don't dye it, and rarely blow-dry or straighten it. I'm sort of mousy brown, if that makes a difference.

I don't want to spend a fortune but maybe up to £8-10 a bottle?

Any suggestions?

Sounds like your hair is weak and needs protein. Try a coconut oil hair mask overnight - just buy pure coconut oil, comes in a tub in the food aisle in Tesco. Cover hair in it for a couple of hours or overnight if possible, and wash out and condition as normal. The protein will strengthen your hair, do it once a fortnight.

After years of being a tigi fan, I've just changed to redken and really liking the products. I have highlighted hair so have gone for the colour extend range. I have straight, but frizzy, difficult to control hair. Suggest you look on the Allbeauty.com website (formerly cheap smells) and you could look at the whole redken range and on that website it will be in your price range.

I also bought the outshine 01 anti frizz milk which is really good too.

Thanks for those suggestions, will definitely get some coconut oil & try that immediately (inexpensive therefore appealing!)
Am also looking at Allbeauty at the Redken stuff.
