Help with grey tired looking skin!

I'm 38 and have to admit I don't have a 'proper' skincare routine. I tend to wash with an exfoliating wash in shower and then use olay essentials moisturiser. My face never feels moisturised even after applying this.
Without make up I am pale, washed out with noticeable dark circles under eyes. When I put concealer on it helps but it's very noticeable and kind of creases.

When up close to the other mums at school pick up their skin looks dewy and well moisturised and a healthy colour but you can see they haven't got piles of make up on. How do they do this and how do I achieve skin like this? They are all a similar age to me but I'm feeling much more haggard!

I use Lancome Teint Miracle foundation and it gives the effect you describe without being heavy. It is really amazing.

It sounds like you need a better moisturiser as well but my skin is a bit oily so I'm not sure what is good for dry skin. Do you drink enough water? This makes a big difference to skin.

this to exfoliate. This at night. This instead of foundation gives me dewy skin.

I love this serum, it makes me look like I actually have slept in the last six months ...

I have recvently discovered Chanel Lift Lumiere foundation (a Good Housekeeping top buy passed on by my mum). Oh My Word. The difference a good foundation can make...Looks light and natural too.
