What should I wear with this dress?

After lots of help on here I tried this dress on and it looks fab. Really flattering. What shoes and bag should I buy? I can't do sky high heels and I haven't got loads of money www.frenchconnection.com/product/Woman+Collections+Bestsellers/71CCE/Imperial+Silk+Wrapover+Dress.htm

I like the shoes the model has on or wedges.

Sorry, I forgot about this thread!

Have you had the wedding yet?

If not is that red in the dress? If so I'd go with a red bag...clutch? Personally I don't seem to ever choose wedges (not sure why) but they are very in... grey shoes look good though.

You'll probably need something to keep warm in...I love this

That's lovely but out of my price range really as I don't think I'd wear it again. Tomorrow's my only day to go shopping. It's a reddy orange in it. I don't really want to get a tan done I think I want to wear thin tights.

I rather like these or these but I do think red would look good too.

I can't wear massive heels and unfortunately my bleeding bunion puts paid to lovely cheapie pointed shoes I'd last about ten minutes!

Are these too high?

You will need closed toes for tights. Don't have to be pointy though.

I think you can get Next things delivered to your nearest store for free.

I've ordered them but I still need to go shopping to look at jewellery and a decent but cheap slip.

How did you get on?

Just wanted to say that I love this dress - looks gorgeous in the pic, I want one!!

I'm in john Lewis now. Haven't got very far! I'm pleased with the dress I've tried a few more on today but nothing is as flattering. I need a slip and maybe a big necklace? Thinking of having hair up.

Maybe a silver-toned necklace? One of those that has multiple strands of different lengths, or just a chunky silver 'statement' necklace (making sure it doesn't interfere with the neckline, of course. With a silver or black clutch?

One of those artfully-messy up-dos with sticks skewered through it would look fab.

Oh god, what does interfering with the neckline even mean?

Oops sorry - I just meant, make sure it doesn't overlap the neckline of the dress, or get caught under the fabric, and make it look messy - with that dress, I'd go with a necklace that wasn't too long or complicated.

How did you get on?

Went to Zara and got a thick silver necklace. I've found a pair of black KG wedges in my cupboard I'm wondering if black will be too much though?
