I need to know roughly what size a Spanish 4 from the 1980s would be for modern day UK
Looking at the garment (it's something I'm selling) I'm guessing XS - S but not sure on actual size e.g. UK 8 etc
thanks in advance if anyone can help!

A 4 or a 40? I don't remember sizes being single digit in the 80's...

i don't remember seing sizes like that in spain. I think the first time i saw that was in the uk in the 90s.

Is it big or small. A 4 in ted baker is big. But an 04 is tiny

Yes, talla means size. But that's definitely not the standard Spanish sizing.

Measure it and compare to standard (that's a joke) sizing now.

LOL, ok I was just trying to help. By standard I meant 38, 40, etc.

Wasn't getting at you because, it's just 'standard' sizing is different in each shop you go in, that's what makes it a joke imo

hmmm i'm confused. i think i'll just go by how it looks and my own measurements, it's a jumpsuit and looks small apart from the batwing sleeves!
