I've been quite tempted for warmer but wet weather.Although,I'm so (childishly) tempted by their Lymington in yellow instead because it makes me think of splashing in puddles and the shape, when shown on the model, looks cute and fun

I love the yellow too but every time I see it I think fisherman!

That is a problem....just think jumping in puddles...jumping in puddles lol as long as you don't wear yellow wellies aswell LOL

I think the Rosanne was called the Rosey last year and I was tempted then (but still have never managed to find myself buying anything practical!!!)

I will have to decide between Rosanne and lymington but so hard.

Which do you reckon would look better on a busty 32 year old who is kinda classic with a twist (like feminine/girly) touches and is a little quirky at times,in personality?

I think the yellow is lovely but the Rosane pink has a really nice difference to it in that it's not your standard colour. I'd say if you can pull the yellow off go for it. At least you'll never get lost in a crowd!

How odd, I saw this jacket (in moss) in the window of our local Fatface yesterday, and thought how nasty it was. In the flesh, the toggles are too big and kind of overpower the garment, which is very cheap and skimpy-looking. Even in the pictures on the website, which has presumably been styled to make it look its best, the waist is in the wrong place on the model, and its length makes her (not big at all) bottom look out of proportion.

The waist does look off in the main pics, not so much on the model though, hmm.

That said, although it looks cute on the site (which I think is helped by the colours) I done a search on its previous incarnation (Rosey) and mumsnetters who tried it found it shapeless and mumsy or that it looked like a childs coat.

Are you going to try it op?

If any one dies, let me know do I can decide between that and the Lymington one instead

I tried it on today and have a picture!

It wasn't quite what I expected as it is thin but it's more a rain jacket than a coat as such. It's not that flattering as it makes me stomach look large and I don't really have a large stomach but that's the smallest size they do so there's basically too much material. (Even though that's the case I think I'm till going to get it as I like the colour and it's a bit different rather than jut plain blue or khaki)

Been to matalan this morning and they have one similar,in Blue, red, navy or khaki.

However,it's got an adjustable cord waist so a more flattering shape.

The toggles are on kinda sissal cords and the cord waist shows through in on little bit centre of the back to show it's sissal(ish) too.

So a little bit of (nautical) detail. It's coated aswell so fine for rain.

Haven't tried it on as they were just getting them out so will look tomorrow.
