KB2651 · 12/01/2014 22:04

I'm in the market for a new handbag as my birthday is looming.

Here's the rub, I'm a picky so and so Grin and no one else will help me because of this.

Criteria
Not too big or too small
Leather
Black
Long, possibly detachable strap to hoik over my shoulder

Let's pretend no budget shall we? Wink

Thank you! Thanks

Mulberry Antony £495. Or combine with a weekend at a spa in Bath and pop to Shepton Mallet and the original factory shop where they're closer to £200.

Anya Hindmarch bags are great quality and also, if you can bear to wait, have good sales every 6 months (though not always the black ones). Have a look at their website and see if it at least gives you some ideas.

Oh I to like the Antony, I do.
But it's just not quite right. I imagine more of a tote style like this but without the white stitching. Although I've not actually seen it in the flesh so to speak so I don't know.

Anya Hindmarch Maxi Zip crossbody ?

Givenchy Antigona ? (You did say no budget!)

Or Tory Burch and Aspinal do bags like the one you linked?
