BRA LADIES!! Your help is needed!

Well I always thought my bras (32a and 32b s) fitted ok but I have measured according to Mumsnet rules and appears I am a 28C or D or a 30C.

Where can I find bras in these sizes to try on? Thanks

I'm a 28 back too, but a G, and it's a difficult size to source. You can probably get away with a 30, but it won't fit as well.

There is a site called The Little Bra Company that stocks a 28C, but that is American.

Marks and Spencer's do a 28C - I think it might be their teenage girls range (which isn't as bad as it sounds) but also in their Limited Collection.

I think (though I may be wrong), Freya have a 28C.

If you need a sports bra, Shock Absorber do a 28C. I have a 28G and it is awesome - totally unshifting as you run.

With a size like yours, you won't find a lot on the high street I'm afraid. eBay is your friend, also try figleaves.com.

Of course, if a 30D fits well, that size is pretty much EVERYWHERE!

m&s angel range do a 28c and are good, my dd uses these.

Thanks - looked at the Angel range in M&S but they are aimed at teenagers so there was nothing sexy and I like something padded as small bust.

TBH I am doubting this new measuring anyway - my 32A / 32B bras I have at home fit me fine.

If you're happy with what you have and it fits, don't change it. Sometimes the tape measure isn't always right and it's better to go by fit. Inspired by this thread, I just measured myself and got a 26E. That size is going to be nigh on impossible to find, so I shall just ignore it!

Twentythirdinline I bet if you scoop in your A/B bras you'll have major overspill? How far can you pull them away from your body?

28C is a pain to find but there are loads of 28Ds around (M&S, Debenahms, Bravissimo, Therapy etc). You may be surprised, I know people who measure at a 28D but actually need a bigger cup due to their style. You will feel much more supported in a 28 band.

TheFillyjonk Try a 28F and then perhaps adjust it using a Rixie Clip. M&S 28 bands in their limited range measure about 25/26 so could be worth a try and are easy to pick up on eBay.

That's what I mean. According to these bra threads everyone is at least a D cup and everyone needs really small back sizes, yet the shops just don't stock sizes like 26e / 28d. I don't get it.

If these threads are right there shouldn't be may A cups yet the shops are full of them

mimi holliday does some grown up 28c and John Lewis has a few too. worth trying 28d in curvy Kate as they run small in the cup

Yes but as long as the shops persist in adding inches (which they do to ensure that they can squeeze you into their limited size range) then they don't need to stock the sizes that properly fitted women actually need! The more women that wear the correct size and pressure the big stores to stock proper sizes ranges the more chance we have of seeing change.

For the 28Cs - Cocosa has a clearance sale on, loads of mimi holliday including a few 28C reduced to £10-£12

There are other sizes too. Their clearance sales are normally return for credit only but might be worth a shot at that price.
