Am 26 weeks pregnant - still wanting to do something with my hair - should I ?

Had a trim last week - hairdresser did nice job but suggested I get a Gwyneth Paltrow style long bob and have my hair highlighted.
Is long mid brown with a full fringe - long all one length fine but lots of and has a wave - although when blow dried goes straight.
Should I wait till the week before I have DC2 - which is early May or do something to it now. Need it long enough to tie back - gym habit and hate washing mg hair every day. Any ideas?

I'd do it now. That way you can get used to it before dc2 arrives. Also, check with hairdresser re colour as hormones etc can sometimes mean colour doesn't take the same as when not preg.

I had a few layers put in and went a shade or so darker a couple of weeks ago. Layers make it a bit more styled than all one length but still easy to tie back for bad hair/no time days! Also have a fringe and I think the cut and colour you're suggesting sounds lovely.

Hope you love it and all the best for dc2, I'm expecting dc2 also, 29 wks at mo!

Thanks tweet I saw another thread about bobbed/graduated hair - and may go for that look. Was just wondering if anyone had had their long hair cut off pre DC and then regretted it!

With dc1 I went shorter but long enough to tie back. It grew really, really quickly. I think that again is something to do with hormones, so if you don't like it will probs grow back in 6 months.

Go for a long bob first and then go shorter if you like it. But def have long enough to tie back- pony tails with new borns are a must as I'm sure you know!

I think I'm going to go for a very long graduated bob and keep my length at the front with enough to tie back, and have it highlighted caramel blondish - and if I get it down now, then I can fit in a quick trim before DC2 arrives in early May (I do the 12 week hair cut thing) late pregnancy for us ladies both! Hope you're not suffering tweet I've gone from glowing to not sleeping!
