T-shirts - Long in body, thick fabric

Ok, I know that this question is asked with alarming regularity, but I am after some t-shirts. Ideally 3/4 sleeve, but long or short also ok. Basic colours.

I am tall and long in the body so they have to be long length. I live in jeans so they need to meet a low-ish waist. I am a SAHM currently with messy pre-schoolers so they need to wash very, very well indeed. I'm after the sort of thick quality fabric that skims your figure not clingy thing types too (don't ask much do I?)

Boden is the obvious one. I know, not exciting, but generally ok. Any other recommendations. Online particularly appreciated as dragging said pre-schoolers round the shops is a very special form of torture.

I have a couple of tees from Uniqlo which are both long in body and nice decent thick cotton.

I bought the extra long essential T from Baukjen and had to return it because I'm a shortie and it almost looked like a dress on me...

I like the Uniqlo ones too.

Ooh, thanks. I shall check those out. Thanks.

I have a couple of Uniqlo ones which are not massively long, but maybe they have altered the cut. Or maybe I need to check the styles. I do find their million versions of jeans confusing, I can imagine t-shirts are the same!

Seasalt - bought some long-sleeved tees in their recent sale and the fabric is lovely and thick.

Select do a fab selection of t shirts... Usually on a deal like 2 for £10. I'm long in the body and have terrible trouble finding long line t shirts but they are a life saver.. Long enough to wear with leggings without flashing my backside Shocklol

How about Baukjen? I love their t-shirts and tops - the material is nice quality and some of the styles come in longer lengths. I find they wash very well. They're not cheap but worth the investment. Plus I think the sale is still on!

I don't find Uniqlo long enough.

I find I can occasionally get longer ones in H&M, but it is v hit and miss. I also occasionally buy Splendid layering tops from Shopbop, but they are v thin fabric. They don't wear out too quickly, but you need to wear at least two at a time.

I like the Dorothy Perkins ones. You have to be selective and just buy the 100% cotton ones otherwise they do have that horrible clingy stuff in and make sure you get the ones that are about 70cm in length. They wash well and they've also been tumble dried and haven't shrunk.

H&m also have some suitable ones but I'm not sure if they give the length measurements online as I've only ever bought those in store.

Otherwise next have tall t-shirts online in grey, black and white but never seem to have any in stock.

Another recommendation for Dorothy Perkins. I am tall and they are pretty much the only high street shop left that I can buy clothes in without having to mail order!

BUT try every single one on. Don't assume that the same top in different colours will = same size! I have had a few vests from there with noticeable variations in length! Angry

Thanks everyone! Baujken coming through pretty strongly which I never would have thought of.

Hope you find something too Olivia
