At the moment my derriere in encased in Tesco bootcuts.
But I fancy buying something with a bit more koudos (maybe a Christmas present from DH?)

I like a boot cut style, not fond of skinnies or flares.
So straight leg/bootcut.

Dark denim would look classier than the Status Quo faded denim.

Where could I look? (I don't think I'm quite at the 7 for all mankind or Not Your Daughters Jeans level) . Maybe £50-£70 for a nice pair?
5'5". Size 12.
Bit a a muffin top, but I'm working on that. Blush

Try TK Maxx without kids and with plenty of time. Try lots of different styles, brands and colours on and see what you feel good in. You should get a pair if not two for that budget.

Levi's are great - try the curve ID if you haven't already. Also, I just got a great pair of jeans from Jigsaw for £69 which fit all your requirements Grin except unless you have very long legs they will probably need turning up as for some bizarre reason they only come in 35" leg(!). Here - super flattering and very comfy to wear.

I got a pair of 30 waist 7 for all mankind jeans for £24.99 in TK Maxx last week! They were stamped 'seconds', but I really cannot see any faults in them. They do look lovely on the bum.

Tbh I would wait until after Christmas and get some in the sales. DD got some Levis from Harrods last year reduced from £115 to £35 and I got some jeans from Harvey Nicholls down from £180 to £65. Also the Levis stores will all have sales on too.

I like jeans from Esprit.co.uk. Come in a variety of fits and styles and the fit is explained in detail. Also free delivery and returns as standard.

I agree with Dexter and Cheesebaby about Levis. I always find they fit me like a glove wheras I find cheaper brands sag in various places!!

You may well be better waiting for the sales - many took place before Christmas last year after all!
