Blusher with mineral foundation

I have decided I am fed up with my blushers. They all have sparkly bits in them. Except one totally matte Mac one, which just looks dirty.

Does anyone have any recommendations? It needs to go over mineral foundation, so assuming cream blushers are out. Budget-wise, well if it is cheap so much the better, but happy to pay for something quality that will lst.

Not looking for it to do anything flash. Just make me look a bit less tired and exhausted (7 mo who doesn't sleep that well). I have dark hair and pale olive skin, so can take most pinks or peaches, just nothing too bubblegum.

Thanks in advance. I know you guys like a challenge. Off out in a minute, but will check back later.

I use Bare Escentuals mineral foundation and blusher. They do a range of colours - am very pleased with their staying power!

or try Lily Lolo, you can buy samples to try the colours first

sorry, meant to say also, that you can use any powder blusher over mineral foundation, doesn't have to be mineral also; inika also do a nice one and so do Living Nature

KBK minerals - a new UK range is fabulous.

Thanks. Think a shop near me has Lily Lolo, so might try and nip in. I'm a bit scared of mineral blushers general because it looks so intense. It's probably all in the application, like the foundation.

I'll have a hunt for KBK minerals too. Thanks.

with mineral or any loose pigment blushers have a tissue handy. tap the brush over the tissue and make sure it is evenly but lightly covered before going in with a light touch. It is one of those things that seems a faff but will become second nature. LL blushers are heavily pigmented but that means they last a long time. Also, if you put too much on, clean brush on tissue and then buff over with the 'empty' brush and put another dusting of mineral foundation over the top.

there are some good videos on youtube showing how to apply mineral makeup. Once you've had a bit of practice it's easy and should stay on all day

I use cream blusher, powder blush and Benetint over Lily Lolo mineral foundation and each works well. Mineral makeup doesn't have to limit your choice :)

I have BE mineral foundation and use Boots no 7 powder blush because I already had some when I bought my foundation. They go really well together.
