Maternity/Breast Feeding Dress for a Wedding.

DC4 is due on 24th April my best friend is getting married a couple of days later.
If possible I would like to go to the wedding, the church at least.
My lovely friend has told me that I can come in my PJ's if I want to but I would like to make a bit of an effort!
Have been looking for a maternity/breastfeeding dress that will look nice enough for the wedding but that I can wear between now and than to get my moneys worth.
I have never had a feeding dress before, usually just go for the vest under top combo, are they any good?
Also if I do wear it with a bump will it be streched giving me a phantom bump when I wear it after the birth? I am not slim but my previous bumps turn to flatter flab pretty quickly after birth.
Any advice/suggestions welcome

Wrap dress perhaps? I brought this (though not at this bargain price) from Isabella Olivia when PG and have worn it successfully after PG too - it works well and doesn't look like I'm wearing a maternity dress.

Easy access for feeding - you could just use a nice wrap/scarf for modesty if you like. They have a few wrap numbers on sale at the moment

I had a lovely John Rocha dress from Debs for a wedding in the summer. Wee buttons at the front for boob access, little pleats under the bust to hide the post-pregnancy podge - perfect design. What I failed to account for was the silky fabric and DD2 slithering all over my front and my lap, and flashing my knockers at all and sundry. So maybe take fabric into account

It was ok dressed up with a lovely Coast pashmina, heels and jewellery but it wasn't that special. I wish I'd have just spent a but extra on a fab Isabella Oliver dress as I know I'd have felt a million times better in it, their dresses are lovely.

Thanks for the link DeeDee That is the kind of dress I have been thinking of getting.
The thing is I really like the Isabella Oliver one but I don't think I would get to wear it much, I am a SAHM with a 13 month old at home and two DC at school, pretty much living in snot covered leggings, maternity skirts and jersey tops at the moment.
There is a chance I won't even be able to go to the wedding as I suppose I could be in labour or still in hospital. I have had one DC on EDD, one a week late and one two weeks early so it's anyones guess.

Ideally I would like something I could wear now and dress it up if I need to.

For my DS's christening I wore a long maxi dress from phase 8. I find maxi dresses really good for when you are pregnant or want to hide that just given birth tummy and if you chose one with a bit of a plunging neckline you have easy access to your boobs! I was just able to pull my boob out to feed and had a wrap or a cardigan to hide it.
