Please recommend me a non-greasy SPF 30 for my face.

I used to have the Nivea one, which was quite good but now can't find anywhere. I tried the Ambre Solaire one but that smelled awful and was really shiny. Everything else I've seen is only SPF 15. wouldn't mind spending a bit more to get something matte - any recommendations?

Clarins do an SPF 30 for around £12-£15 - not cheap but seems to last for ages.

I've found clinique (think it's called city block) spf 40 to be good in the past.

I like Ultrasun Face 30 - sinks in so fast you have to be careful to blend it quickly, and dries really matt.

clinique city block. for some reason the spf 25 gets good reviews as it has more zinc in it- better than the spf 40.

i've used it for 20 years - every day.

I use a powder SPF 30 from bare minerals

I use this SunSense and it's brilliant. I find I can't wear more than one layer of product on my face (spf, moisturiser, foundation) as it always pills or slides off. This has a very matt finish and they call it 'invisible tint' - It doesn't seem to give any colour but I've found that since I started using it I just put a light dusting of translucent powder on top and my skin looks amazing! That is something of a miracle in itself for me, as I'm constantly either flushed or spotty. I get it in John Lewis and it's £14 for a tube, but lasts well. It's factor 50.

Clinique city block great, really great! Soltan once also good. Clarins good too. But tbh, I found city block this year and won't use anything else from now on!

Nuxe ecran prodigieuse or Avene emulsion sunblock are both lovely and sink in really well without any greasiness

The Sunsense and UltraSun ones look pretty good too. Hmmm...

HugosGoatee I wear sunscreen the whole year round. Three entire strangers one three seaparate occasions have told me that the one thing they would tell someone my age is to moisturise all over every day and to wear sunscreen, so I'm taking their advice!
