M&S Ltd Collection Leather Sandals

I just bought www.marksandspencer.com/Limited-Collection-Leather-Buckle-Sandals/dp/B004S89ZNS these in both colours in the sale. I really like them. I want to take them on holiday this weekend but the reviews are slightly worrying as they say they break easily. I'm going in a beach holiday so will only wear them for a few hours in the evening. Do you / dId you have them and are they really as flimsy as the reviews suggest (they don't look it)
