Insanity eyebrows - be wary of the girls in the Shavata brow bars and their pots of paint.

Had them threaded yesterday and the girl asked if I wanted them coloured in a bit.

Blimey! I ended up looking like the bastard child of Liz Taylor and Harpo Marx. She also put highligher stuff under the brow in wild fashion. The eyebrow tapered down to my bloody earlobe near enough. I looked very very odd. Like this Grin

Of course I looked in the mirror and beamed at her, and said 'lovely, thanks' Hmm

I had to scamper through house of frase - walk of shame.

Thank god and all his cherubs that dd didn't get to see.

Grin Why on earth did you say it was lovely?

IS the colour likely to last a long time?

Were you in Brizzle perchance? Had mine done there yesterday but thankfully had learnt from the previous experience and rejected her felt tip pen Grin

Ha! Yes I was Freak. With Jordan Grin

You CAN'T tell those people that you don't like what they did, surely that's the law. It is perfectly natural to want to brain the hairdresser and at the time time beam joyfully and overtip.

Can't be just me who does that?

Lol I was accidentally filmed by her tv crew. Strolling around with my Primarni bag and bright red post threading stripe across face wondering how to get past the screaming crowds, looked up and there was a bloody camera in my face Blush

Live in Brizz, where do you get your eyebrows threaded? Have always wanted it done but never had the knowhow (or guts!)

Also, wtf was Jordan doing here? Surely Brizzle not interesting enough for her?

Grin

I will watch that show when it is aired - looking out for post threaded woman scowling at camera, and perhaps see me in the background running through Cabot with my head down Grin

By the way (bristol based ranting) I was charged 9 sodding pounds for less than 3 hiurs parking in Broadmead car park! Robbing bastards, it is not that expensive in cabot c car park (no wonder it is always full)

House of fraser in cabots, probably many cheaper places to get it done though but I was given a shavata pamper package for my birthday

Oranges - it is a brow bar in House of fraser in Cabot. They are very good, albeit sadistic (it bloody hurts) and with the sartorial sense of cher lloyd.

Jordan filming auditions for her new best mate (!) by all accounts.

I would say your best bet is to look in the asian areas - will be a lot cheaoer. Is £17 in shavata.

I used to go to a local Indian woman in Gloucester who was better (it didn't hurt as much ) and did it for £6.

Thank you ladies. At the moment have the brows of a grizzly bear that I am hiding under a long fringe, but really not sure I can see very well through all the hair!

There is a stall in a shopping centre near me that does threading. It's £8 and they are Asian ladies who do a fantastic job.

There used to be one of those in a shopping centre in Gloucester. She was very good.

I have had a terrible experience with Shavata. I went to the Beauchamp Place studios last week for eyelash extensions and the product they used has led to burning in my eyes. Over a week later and I am still in pain and have been diagnosed by an ophthalmologist as having dry eyes as a result. I have complained to Shavata and received an extremely rude response, with absolutely no apology. I paid PS150 for this awful experience and am now telling everyone to be aware of this company - they are awful!!
