Hello, hoping you wonderful, stylish ladies can help me!

I have decided that I would like to wear leggings with a jersey-style dress/tunic for work with some flat pumps, or something similar. I am sick of wearing jeans ALL the time??

I am trying to stay away from black leggings and dark colours in general ? where on the high street is good right now for buying leggings (navy, grey maybe?) and some dress/tunics? I am 33 and a size12, 5?8?? tall.

I really should not be allowed to go shopping on my own, as dreadful at choosing anything ? please can you suggest a few things for me please?

God, that sounds a bit needy, but I am seriously fashion-challenged!!

TIA Smile

Select is very good for leggings. Quite long, good quality and a selection of colours.

I like Primark legings which have loads of lycra in to stop bulgy bits. Good and long too

Thank you all - I will go and take a look at above.

Can anyone recommend tunic/dresses please?

I think New Look make stuff huge! Confused

I tried on a corset top in size 6 there and it was baggy. I'm 8-10 everywhere else. Maybe they make all the clothes the same size and just put different labels on them?!

Peacocks are good for dresses, or TKMaxx. Bay Trading was good too but sadly no more.

Watch out for the M&S navy leggings, bought some yeesterday and they looked saggy after 10mins trying on with tops. More lycra needed I think.

Some nice jersey dresses in Kew.

Navy leggings are everywhere. Shades of grey and army green also seem popular.

Steer clear of brown or any 'warm' colours - imo, they make even the slender of leg look elephantine.

I got some nice grey leggings from Gap that so far I have mostly worn with an Asda tunic...
