Under eye concealer

What's the best, barely there, not likely to be worn with foundation, under eye concealer for covering dark circles? I am 40, have very pale skin and a 9 month old baby and want to look yummy youthful and fresh faced when i meet the baby's family in a month (coming back from overseas). I can probably shop in duty free on the way. Is Touch Eclat still the thing?

I like Estee Lauder Double Wear in 01 Light. Lasts forever. No creasing. Good coverage and goes nicely with their tinted moisturiser.

Athrawes, if you go on the guardian (newspaper) website and look under style there is a short video of a make-up artist applying concealer and explaining the difference between a concealer and a highlighter etc, I thought it was really good.

I like Givenchy Mister Light, its easier to blend in than Touche Eclat

Lily lolo do one called peepo that is good, it is very yellow but that isn't how it looks over the dark circles, it neutralises the colour.

Well I am 40, pale skinned and dark under the eyes too. I have Touche Eclat and the Clinique one (can't remember what it's called).

It's marginal but I would say the Touche Eclat is better. Don't wear foundation and have no problems blending in.

Touche eclat no longer works for me, :0( I really like the garnier tinted under eye cream. this and it looks like it's on offer ATM too.

My life was transformed when I discovered Bobbi Brown under eye corrector. It is SO much better than touche eclat. Completely out of character, My 11 year old son said "your face looks brighter", the very first day I used it. (a couple of days later he also remarked on the shininess of the granite in the kitchen just after id used an e-cloth on it for the first time. :-)

Agree Bobbi Brown is fab - I use the concealer - dot it on, leave for a minute and then blend in. Touche Eclat cam look very chaky and comes up v pale in photos.

For the price, £2.69 or something ridiculous, the Aldi Concealer pen is really very good! I'm using it at the moment. I haven't used Touche Eclat for many years but as I remember it, it didn't impress me much more than the Aldi one.

I second/third the Bobbi Brown corrector. It's good stuff - and if, like me, you have a wrinkly under-eye area, it doesn't get stuck in the wrinkles.

Benefit Boi-ing (I use No.1, light). I have major dark circles and it works really well.

I really like the Mac concealer. I wear it without foundation. The texture's great and the colour works (pale skinned, dark circles, 38).

Try bare escentuals. Their bisque concealer is unbelievable. I have now binned all my other make up and only wear their stuff. Can't believe the difference it makes.

Another vote for Bobbi Brown. It really is an amazing product. Much much better than Touch Eclat. I refuse to leave the house without it on (and the Clinique mascara)
