home dye, root touch up or beg the hairdresser...?

Shit.

Have just realised the wedding I am going to is this week not next and my roots are awful. Have been putting off my appointment as my lovely hairdresser is on maternity leave and last time my hd left me the new one turned my hair bright pink!

I usually have an all over colour, lighter than my natural mouse. So do I attempt an all over home dye? Or home root touch up? (am a home dye virgin)

Or I could beg the salon for an appointment, but a) I only have Wednesday off and the wedding is on Thursday and b) I strongly doubt they will have a spare appointment anyway.
