I went a few years ago, it's lovely. I would have no trouble spending a couple of hours on my own there.

Lots of nice open areas and big pools with everyone going about their business, you won't feel self conscious.

I've been there on my own and it's lovely. I would take your own towel though (a very colourful and obvious one) as losing your hired towel is no fun on a chilly day, trust me!

I went on my own - it was bliss. It was the first 'time off' I had after DS was born and I loved it. Agree about taking an extra towel! Mine was soaked by the time I came to dry off from my shower with it. Aside from that I emerged quite zen-like Grin and I usually hate doing things on my own.

so how did you fill two hours on your own?

It will go faster than you think. I spend time in the huge rainforest shower then had a steam, walked to the downstairs pool (was much more peaceful than the roof top pool) and just floated about with a woggle think that was in the pool, sat under one of the shower/fountain thingies at the side, popped upstairs for a bit of a float and jacuzzi in the roof top pool then back down for another rainforest shower and float in the downstairs pool then it was time to head to shower and leave.
