Help me accessorise my dress...am hopeless at this

I have
this dress

and I want to wear it to a wedding in two weeks.

I need shoes, jacket or cardi, bag... and I have no idea what I should be going for! My usual style is casual and I don't really wear heels or get dressed up - if I'm going out I usually wear dress/leggings/boots etc or ballet flats in summer so I am struggling particularly with the shoes.

I much prefer clothes which are a bit interesting or funky and I am a bit lost with putting together semi-formal outfits. I also don't want to be a clone of all the other 30-something women on the day.

I love these

but have no idea if they are appropriate for a wedding or would work with the dress.
(I'm 38, 5'7" and a size 12)

doggie, the nude shoes are better IMO.

How about a long sleeved bolero type thingy over the dress rather than a jacket?
I am boring traditional so would probably opt for cream or navy with a red corsage pinned to it.

Thanks.

The nude shoes are lovely in RL - I need to go and try them on with the dress to check.

corsage... hadn't thought of that!

Any other suggestions on shoes? Can I wear sheer tights (for warmth and coverage of veins) or will I look like an old lady?

Yep I know. Currently struggling to get up to 10 degrees here and it won't be much warmer in 2 weeks time.

Goose pimply legs ahoy.

that's why I was thinking about a jacket instead of bolero and also wondering what the hell to put the DC in over their outfits (since their nice warm waterproof jkts will look silly)

I think sheer tights would be fine.

Bodens limited edition navy metallic trench coat and red wedges or similar would be my suggestion just to look a little different!

I would accessorise with Navy Cardi, clutch and peep toe heels. The dress is quite busy so go classic on all your other bits imo:

cardi

clutch

shoes
