I have seen the cleanse and polish in John Lewis and was thinking of trying it, is it any good?

Yes! Cleanse and Polish is fabulous and all I use. If you have never used before then I suggest you buy a trial pack of stuff from QVC. Usually about a weeks worth of the basic products. If you use and don't like you can still send back for a full refund.

yes, the cleanse and polish is brilliant. I have tried bits and bobs of the rest of the range and none of it is as good as c&p.

It's really the cloth that makes the difference. any cleanser removed with a rough ish cloth/face cloth will exfoliate your skin at the same time and help it glow.

I had a sample pack and found the cleaner very ordinary and rather thick.

I love C&P. Yes, it's a bit thick, but my skin is slightly sensitive and is prone to dryness especially at this time of year and C&P is the only cleanser which hasn't dried out my skin, even compared to some of the more expensive brands.

If you want to use any other cleanser with a muslin cloth or flannel though, you're best just using the cloth for one day then washing it. And don't tumble dry or iron the cloth or flannel as that will soften it too much and reduce the exfoliating action.

Yes! Have had some for Christmas and my skin looks fab after only a couple of days of use.

Boots No 7 do one which is cheaper.

Honestly, I don't rate it.

If you are getting great results after 2 days it simply means you have removed surface dead skin, or were not cleansing thoroughly before ( sorry).

I love C&P and the Eyebright stuff for dry eyes/removing eye make-up. The brightening treatment is very good too, I use it as a facepack - not so fussed on the toner though.

Thanks for that cabbage - is probably moving the dead skin and also hadn't cleansed for a week as had run out of my elemis and was waiting for Santa to replenish! Will see how I get on after a month with it...

Tried Liz earle and it gave me really bad skin, spots and everything. Won't be using it again.

I've been using C&P and the toner for a month and my skin is fab - really impressed and I'm going to keep using it.

I've been using C and P for about 3 years.

I have combination skin prone to breakouts. Find it really excellent at removing make up. Every so often I get a bit bored and try something else. I always go back to C & P. Other cleansers don't clean my skin as well, I also like the fact it isn't highly perfumed. I use the cloths, and also use the toner(which smells lovely). Am trying a decleor moisturiser at the moment but will go back to Liz Earle when I've finished, as the Decleor one is 2x as expensive as Liz Earle, but have not noticed any difference.

I've just started using C&P. I was always a dyed in the wool Dermalogica user but have to say the C&P seems to be making my skin look a lot brighter. Maybe it is the cloth part as cabbageroses says. Do like it so far though.

I've been using Liz Earle stuff for about 10 years and in ime nothing else touches it.

I have used the No7 equivalent and I found it heavy and greasy compared to the c&p.

I liked Liz Earle C & P but found that it made me slightly more prone to getting the occasional spot. I've found the Tesco bnatural cleanser, which is a third of the price, to be much better than Liz Earle.

Hmm I may just give it a shot thanks for all the input.

i used to use it and thought it was good, but have been doing the oil cleansing method for over a year now and it is easily as effective, (if not more) and costs pennies. also no need for separate moisturiser. I have VERY oily skin and i think it has improved.

I used to get it for free, but wouldn't pay for it.

It's OK, nothing special IMO and I found their moisturiser always brought me out in spots, regardless of which one I used.

My skin is better now with Superdrug's own tea tree foaming facewash costing about 1.99, used with the muslin, than it was with C&P!

I found cleanse and polish too greasy and 'cocoa buttery' for my skin

I found the eye M U remover VERY drying

if you buy from QVC you can send back within 30 days if you hate it
