Pandora bracelets.

I've had a gorgeous silver Pandora bracelet for Christmas with 4 charms & 3 spacers, have an anniversary & birthday coming up to hopefully add a couple more charms.
I'm just interested in what is nice to put on it, what works? What doesn't. And whether anyone has managed to fill theirs!.
Come and tell me about yours!!

I have a troll beads bracelet with 4 beads - I think they look nicer with the bracelet on display than full of beads, but I'd like some more too!

DD has nearly filled her pandora.... best one I think is the safety chain thing that screws on either side of the opening.

There are lots of pretty beads about. Go into a shop and try your favourites on your bracelet to see which you prefer. I often treat myself to a bead if I am passing by a shop. I find the concept rather happy and cuteXmas Smile

I have mine filled, not so much fun once it is filled not unless you want to have charms lying in a jewellery box instead of on the bracelet and to be prepared to change them every now and then

Dh brought me a Pandora bracelet for christmas with a safety chain and two charms. I then added three more charms to it with christmas money I was given. I will add to mine with any birthday money I receive in Febuary Dh, Mil,Sil,my sister and mum will know a gift voucher or charm will be wonderfully recieved. Once filled I will still collect charms so I can chop and change theme to go with whatever I am wearing.

Littlepumpkinpie are you using spacers too or just the charms? And the other thing I was wondering is would you stick to silver or introduce a bit of gold? I quite like the gold/silver mixed ones. (Budget won't stretch to all gold!)

Must admit, the safety chain will be my next purchase, I'd be really upset to lose it even now.

Sarahlou
Hello my safetly chain is the silver one with gold hearts. The charms Dh brought me were silver with a little gold on them. I brought another with gold on and a red enamel one. Will be getting another enamel one to make it a bit symetrical. I cannot decide weather to buy any spacers yet or more to the point not sure which to buyGrin

I have almost filled mine up - have mostly gold and silver mixed charms. I have 3 of the coloured glass beads but don't like them much so will prob take them off to create more space for some more expensive new charms.

I like the Murano glass beads - they add a bit of variety in size and colour - especially if your budget doesn't stretch to gold beads. Do you want pretty beads or sentimental beads. My ds got me a little boy bead and my dd a little girl bead last Christmas. My dh got me a silver bead covered in little siver hearts. I like the idea of filling the bracelet and then mixing and matching the colours of beads according to my mood.
The clips are handy to stop your beads sliding all the way around your bracelet when there are not many on it yet.

Oh Thankyou for that Carrotsandcelery I did not know the clips stopped the beads moving. I thought they where another word for clasps and that they could be changed. Will buy a couple of the breast cancer ones then if thats what the clips do.

They clip onto the little screw thread sections along the bracelet to minimise bead movement. It also keeps the beads safer as they can't unwind off the bracelet if you don't have a safety chain.

Your Fantastic Carrotsandcelery thankyouSmile for that my charms keep slipping over to the safety chain which was driving me a little insane. But oh dear I promised myself I would not go near the shop again untill next pay day (end of Jan)Mmmm do I shoot into town and hope Dh does not noticeGrin

If you go to the Pandora website, there is a tool that lets you place charms on a bracelet to see what they look like.

I liked it too Smile It's nice to see how things look before you get them. I have a plain silver bracelet. DH bought it for me and 3 charms to signify our children. Friends and family have added to it since. Mine is all silver/clear stones. One of them has a bit of gold.

I bought my sister a cream leather one and a couple of charms since. I was kind of planning to get another when mine was filled. Blush

There is a great ebay seller from Australia who sells Pandora products cheaper than the shops, but she only has selected things - if you want her ebay ID I could give it to you. I have bought a few things from her and she has been great.

I like the black one too Lulumaam (are you Lulumama?) Silver and blue is a nice theme. I wear all black so all silver suits my wardrobe.

carrotsandcelery thanks for that, I'm going to look into the clips too as mine tend to slide round to the clasp.

I love the glass beads, I'm trying to stick to a pink/dark red theme. So far I have a garnet charm (my birthstone), a pram (I have a 10 week old baby) a red enamel bead (DD chose it) and a handbag (of course!) - plus 3 spacers, so the middle section is nearly full.

Been to the Pandora shop today but the queue was a mile long so may have to wait for a bit now!

I'm going to check out the Pandora website now, the bead tester sounds like fun!

My dh gave me a rose gold london links for Christmas. I was a bit Xmas Shock - we have had a tough time recently and I think he wanted to spoil me. The bracelet was really expensive Xmas Blush I was browsing last night and got a real Xmas Shock at the price of rose gold charms for it. I couldn't bring myself to spend that on a charm (£350) Do you think it would look nice with a rose gold bracelet and silver charms or should I just leave it as a rose gold bracelet?

I think I would just leave it as a bracelet Carrots, unless there are other charms than silver?

i think it would be fine just as as a bracelet... some charms are enamel and might go better with the rose gold.

Pandora are putting prices up from the 4th January. I saw a notice in the Pandora shop today. Went to an indepdent shop that also stocks Pandora and the lady told me that some are going up by £8 and many will have gone up by a lot more.

Really pumpkin? I bought myself a cream leather bracelet there today with no charms (was meant to be thriftfully sale shopping) and plan to get a charm or two with Jan pay packet. May need to buy beforehand and hide from DH
