practical but trendy coat for 11 year old girl

my dd is 11 but wearing roughly age 13 clothes (obv depends on shop) I got her a really nice coat from Boden for best (why oh why i do not know) but it is deeply impractical for this freezing cold weather. Any ideas for a not too expensive coat - she hates duffels and seems to want to be trendy now after a bit of a tomboy phase. Has to be online as we live in the middle of nowhere!
