What to wear with ankle boots...

Have bought a pair of chunky biker ankle boots, which I love, and can't wait to wear!

Only thing is, I'm about to have a baby, I've put on quite a bit of weight and I think it will be a while before I'm back in my skinny jeans, which is what I'd normally wear.

Please can you suggest other things I can wear to show off my boots? Grin

Pre-pregnancy - hourglass size 8/10. 5ft 5 with black hair and very pale skin.

Hmm not sure they go with jeans other than skinny. I tend to wear mine with leggings or tights - and then maybe shorts or a denim mini but then I'm not pregnant!! Mutton and lamb come to mind as well Wink

I'm not much help come to think of it....

I'm hoping not to be pregnant for too much longer! Wink They are very practical boots for a new mum - That's what I told my husband anyway...

I may try a denim mini in the spring!

Anyone else any suggestions?

Can't find a pic, but they are by Ash - black ankle high - quite a wide ankle opening, with three buckle straps, and a clumpy sole.

More like the Ash Storm ones, but shorter

What do I know (definitely mutton) but I have mid length Ash bikers. I wore them to extend the life of my summer skirts in the autumn and I will wear them again in the spring (when the weather is too cold and aternately showery for light shoes, but the sun is making a sporadic appearance).

I have one flowery knee length skirt in particular that looks all wrong with ballet flats but I think looks rather good with the bikers. Also I wore to music festivals in the summer, very practical as an alternative to wellies.

So I think they are a very good buy Grin.
