Anyone got any Whooga or Celtic Sheepskin boots?

Now I'm on ML I'm considering moving over to the dark side and getting a pair of Ugg-esque boots - they look SO cosy!

I'm not bothered by brand as such but don't want some dodgy copy that falls apart. I've been recommended the Celtic sheepskin and Whooga. I like the fact that Celtic sheepskin are made in the UK, but prefer the look of the (China made using Aussie materials) Whooga boots - which are also cheaper. Any thoughts - inclding whether Uggs/Emus actually better - not bothered about the 'label fashion value' just comfort, quality, durability etc

Thanks

I have 2 pairs of Celtic Sheepskin boots, bought last year. They are lovely. Really good quality, very comfy to wear and keep my feet warm as toast.

One pair has been through the washing machine, came out fine.

I also like the fact the sole is more chunky and they are less identifiable than Uggs.

I love my Celtic Sheepskin boots. They have lasted for 2 years (it may be coming up to 3, can't remember that far back Grin)and have just worn a tiny hole in the front upper part, so I am delighted I will finally have to replace them.

DH bought me celtic sheepskin knee high boots for Christmas last year, already there is a hole worn through where my toe is.

Considering how expensive they were I was really disappointed.

am going to take them to the local shoemaker and see if anything can be done with them.

Is there such a thing as a code for Celtic sheepskin (even free p&P??). Thanks.

I had the celtic sheepskin outdoor boots that were specially treated to be waterproof. I had them for about 4 years and they were fabulous. Had to finally get rid of them this year as they were beyond repair.

I also have the lovely voles (slippers) from the same company and they are CRAP. Had them less that a year and they are coming away from the soles. very disappointed.

my mother is getting me new ones from NZ this year instead.

I bought dh some sheepskin boots from Celtic Sheepskin, as the Ozzie ones that my parents had bought him years ago had well and truly given up the ghost.

They are not nearly as good as the ones my dad bought for me from NZ - and then I was really :( and Angry to find out that despite having them posted from NZ, the Kiwi ones were actually cheaper HmmEnvy

These are the ones I have: you can get longer ones for not much more.

I have Celtic ones and they are fab. I also like the fact it's a british company. I'm hoping to get some of the aqua lamb boots for outside as I use mine as slippers at the moment. The jacket is gorgeous!

I bought my Celtic boots three years ago, have had some seriously hard wear and are still going strong. Have washed them in the washing machine a few times and come up brilliantly. Def a great buy.
