boden don't do direct selling do they?

i dont think boden do direct selling do they? i saw a sign this weekend saying "boden party sale here in aid of x charity" - surely second hand clothing or is there something i don't know about? just wondered

the dc's school has just had a boden clothes party. it's not second hand stuff, it was brand new. they had a few rails of stuff, on loan to try on, and anyone could place orders on the night or there was a special discount code to use, was a good discount, 20-25% off and free delivery. school earns a % of the sales too so it does raise money, the advert you've seen sounds like the same thing.

Judging by the mums on our playground we would be having a Peacocks party. Grin

They do. they have some of their own shops. And they recently had a clearance sale at our local sports centre, which was absolutely mobbed. I gave up!

There was a thread on here not so long ago saying the host gets a raw deal, discount is poor and you have tonnes of work..

It is the same when I pick my kids up - there are a few 'Boden type' mums and the rest Hmm
