Could any bargain hunters out there please explain why my sister can go into the cheapest shops possible....

To buy almost everything she owns and look great, where when I try to do the same, the same shops are filled with plastic tat that costs £1.50 and looks like it costs £1.50 and I have to go to River Island to buy shoes I cannot afford or don't need? Hmm

(I ordered a pair of shoes and they have not arrived on time for today, so I wanted a cheap alternative)

Don't know but I gave the same problem with a friend!! Complement her a various tops/ shoes etc and they always seem to come from primark or Asda.... I have set foot in primark twice and never have I found anything that I would want to wear... let alone look vaquely stylish in

Take your sister with you when you go shopping. Some people just have a good eye for things that look pants on the hanger but great on a person.

The vast majority of my clothes cost less than a tenner.... most significantly less than that.

It doesn't work if you need an item of clothing though... if i go out looking for something specific, ie shoes, I haven't got a chance in hell of getting it for less than a small fortune.

But if i'm browsing i can find all sorts of things. I spent 7 euros in the charity shop today and got a gorgeous top (River Island), a pair of cropped jeans (E-Vie) and a denim skirt to wear over leggings plus a cute little photo frame Grin

Plus3 I did find a nice top in Primark today but I didn't need a top I needed shoes.

I usually do take my sister with me, but she takes hours to get ready so would have started getting dressed for the BBQ we are going to already.

Is she thin and possibly tall too?
I have a friend who is gorgeous and of perfect proportions and cheap clothes that would look terrible on me look fantastic on her.

I don't think it's about size though.... I don't do alot of clothes shopping and as a result I don't think that I have a good eye...
