After 7 years of compromise and trying to mediate my 3 children to get on with his 3 same aged children, I have cracked.

I am evil as have decided to swap weekend's so nobody has to meet ion ever. This includes me.

End of . Cracked. Anyone else?!.

I can relate. Love partners dd but really struggle with his ds. There are times when I'm so relieved if me and my dd are busy when they are here so I can avoid him (he has nice qualities but is babied, over sensitive (or plays up to it for attention), incapable of doing anything everyday without instruction etc, which seems to end up having an impact on everyone). I've tried hard over Christmas but listening to a 9 year old talk in a baby voice and language to relatives has near driven me insane. The thing is everyone in his family is so used to thinking of him as sensitive that it's like they're all scared of upsetting him. Drives me mad. You're not alone. X

Thank you. It is awful and I beat myself up about it all. The final straw is how his children dominate my home and didn't even give me a Christmas hello!! Let alone presents. I found my 18 year old sobbtas they totally alienate her. Funny as to why they are like this as their father had left the mother years before he found me!!. Anyway , I am off away for couple of nights but am sick of this reoccurring problem. I don't think it can be resolved. Except never to see them again!!!

Well I think this is well and truly for the best, your children certainly do not seem happy and they have to be your priority.
