I would love to join the group. I am dyspraxic myself, but only found out last year (age 37) after going back to college. My 2 kids are also dyspraxic, but the doctors will not diagnose them.

Thank you, its not an easy disability to recognize as this has only been around for 20 years.

If you want your children diagnosed then ask the doctor for a referral to Nuffield children's hospital Consultant Pam Williams has done some research (its Free). or ask school for an educational psychologist(its Free) to come in and they can diagnose.

Hope this helps I am on [email protected] if you need further help

Hi

Yes the Dyscovery Centre Amanda Kirby is good its the only one around in Wales there is no centre in London????

There seems to be little for children within the education system, as the learning assistants we have are not qualified teachers and not qualified in SEN for children.

Lets hope for the next generation there will be something.
