Am fuming.
Have to set the scene, so sorry if it's long.
DS1 (Y3) & DS2(Reception) are in a small (37 kids) village school. Since DS2 started school, DS1 has become more and more stressed. At first, I thought it was the change of teacher (there is one infant and one junior class), but I soon realised there was more to it. Eventually came to the conclusion that DS1 is stressed because DS2 is so close at school. DS1 can see how he not only needs support at home, but he needs it at school as well. He can see how slow DS2 is at learning and how many appointments he is withdrawn from school for. Things have got so bad that I have had a GP referral to CAMHS for DS1.
I have anguished over this decision - but have decided to move to a bigger school where they are far less likely to bump into each other.
DS2 had his annual review 5 weeks ago, and now they want an emergency review to see what the problems are. The SEN team have been very arsey with me!!
I have explained that we are moving due to problems with DS1 and that we are quite happy with the provision for DS2, but they still want the review and have stopped the new school from advertising for a TA for DS2.
Can the LEA ask for an emergency review? I thought it was only parents who could do this?

Am I the only person who is allowed to ask for an 'emergency' review?
