My friend works with a child with a hearing impairment - the child has hearing aids in both ears and has limited speach. The child is lovely I nanny for her friends and spend a lot of time with her.
We (friend, friends boss, and I) are currently trying to come up with a game plan to promote positive behaviour as she gets frustrated and lashes out
How do you deal with promoting behaviour when the child is obviously frustrated at not being understood?
