dd has respite at school. I am in the process of trying to book her in on a monday night(she normally has wednesdays and fridays) as ds will be in hospital overnight. I was fine about leaving her with dh(to send to school and be there when she gets home) untill ds said what if dh has a fit(he has epilepsy)
so if I am able to get her booked in, do you think that it can count as an emergency??
then I can ask ss to pay and not loose the hours iynwim.

I'd say if your son is having an operation then that is an emergency, and if you say you do not feel able to leave her alone with your DH as he could have a fit, I think that definitely counts!

thanks. I am sure dh would be fine. but it would be so nice to be able to just be there for ds, he may be 16 but he will want his mum.
